Club History:

First opened in 1958 as the Herbert Kieckhefer Branch, this Club has served the South Phoenix community for more than a half a century. In 2011, thanks to the generous support of Major League Baseball, the All-Star Game, and the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Branch underwent a complete renovation and reopened as the MLB All-Star Arizona Diamondbacks Branch: A Kieckhefer Family Legacy. Some of the programs include partnerships with the South Mountain W.O.R.K.S. Coalition, Helping Enrich African American Lives Coalition, Phoenix Police, Audubon Society, and the Arizona Diamondbacks (who sponsors the Day for Kids and the Club holiday party each year).

After School Programs:

This Branch serves children ages 5-18. (5 year old has to be in Kindergarten and 5 at the time of registration for the school year.)
Annual youth membership is $30.
Annual teen membership is $15.

Program Fees:

School-year program fees are just $25 per month beginning in September 2017.  No additional monthly fees will be charged for Teens.  Fees will be due on the first day of the month.

We have a sliding fee scale for families, based upon financial need and proof of income, to ensure that our programs will be accessible for kids.  Limited scholarships are available.
