Boys & Girls Club of Metro Phoenix has recruited a chief operating officer for the first time in its 70 years of operation.

Bridget McDonald has assumed the role, effective immediately. McDonald was previously vice president of operations. She’s been with BGCMP for nearly three decades, starting out as a branch manager.

“I am both honored and humbled to continue serving this amazing organization in a new capacity. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix plays an integral role in the lives of thousands of youth and families. Our mission, combined with new strategic initiatives, offer the opportunity to enhance services, expand collaborative efforts, and realize our goal of being the premier out-of-school-time program. Our team is one of the most committed in the Valley to supporting our community, and I am proud to be a part of this movement,” said Bridget McDonald.
